Google has rolled out two new updates for Google chat. Conversations with Google Chat will also be pinned to Gmail’s mobile client. Google Chat has now added a calendar shortcut. The recent Google Chat updates are now available to customers of Workspace (G Suite).
Google Chat conversations are found on the left side of Gmail’s mobile client. Here, with the most recent talk on top, conversations are shown. Users of Google Workspace will also pin up messages so that critical chats can remain at the top of the list. In Google Talk, this works with rooms as well. Tap the three-dot button to pin a discussion to Google Chat, and pick ‘Pin’ from the row. Pinned chats along with the user’s name will be illustrated with the pin symbol.
The Calendar shortcut has now been created by Google Chat, so it is now easier to arrange activities easily. This shortcut is available in the writing bar of the discussion in Google Chat. To plan a new event with the chat members, you can tap the Calendar button. In the side tab, the draught will also open, and you can even configure the invite itself from here before sending it out. This shortcut even works on the computer, but the Calendar app will wake up.
Google has begun carrying out the Talk Calendar shortcut on Android, and even the Gmail version. Chat on Gmail and the Chat app on iOS will also be available on the internet.
The latest Google Chat functions are available for Workspace Basics, Business Starter, Business Normal, Business Plus, Enterprise Essentials, Enterprise Standard, and Enterprise Plus, as well as G Suite Simple, Business, Education, Enterprise for Education, and Nonprofit customers.
