The company has launched the Gionee M12 as its new smartphone offering. The handset, currently available in Nigeria, comes with a 48-megaixel main sensor quad rear camera system. It has a huge battery of 5,100mAh and provides up to 128GB of capacity.
Two processor options are available for the device: MediaTek Helio A25 and MediaTek Helio P22 SoC. The Gionee M12 has a 6.55-inch HD+ display on the top left corner of the display with a hole-punch cut out. The back of the handset has a fingerprint reader.

The latest Gionee M12 with a 6GB RAM + 128GB capacity package is priced at NGN 78,900 (approximately Rs. 15,400). The Helio P22 SoC model is priced at NGN 85,000 (approximately Rs. 16,600). Helio P22 SoC Processor phone has priced at NGN 75,000 (roughly Rs. 14,600), there is also a 4GB RAM + 64GB storage option. The phone is classified under the colour choices of Sparkling Black and Magic Green.

The Gionee M12 runs on Android 10 according to requirements. It has a 6.55-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) display with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a screen-to-body ratio of 91 percent. As mentioned above, two processor options are available: MediaTek Heli A25 and MediaTek Helio P22 SoC. The phone is paired with up to 6 GB of RAM and provides a storage option of up to 128 GB. The phone comes with the option of using a microSD card slot (up to 256 GB) to further extend the capacity.
The Gionee M12 has quad rear cameras with a 48-megapixel GM1 sensor with f/1.79 aperture, a 5-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, and two additional 2-megapixel cameras to support the camera design. There’s a 16 megapixel selfie camera up front.
Gionee M12 has a 5100 mAh Battery. The handset has a fingerprint scanner on the rear and also supports facial unlocking.
